Tapestry Weaving - Beginners

Tapestry Weaving - Beginners.
Fri. April 7th  6-9pm
& Sat. April 8th 1-4:30pm
(6 1/2  hours of instruction)
This is Tapestry Weaving: creating gorgeous scenes of fibre and string around a circular frame.
In this beginners class, you will learn the basic techniques to create a simple woven project around a 7" hoop loom. You'll create your own "cartoon" or scene, and learn to weave it using a wide variety of yarns and fibres, discovering techniques to create perspective, and how to finish your piece.

This is a fantastic art form to use up any stashes of yarns and fibres.
